iTrepreneur at the SBC Ontario Network Conference 2026: Supporting the People Who Support Small Business

This year we had the opportunity to showcase iTrepreneur at the SBC Ontario Network Conference 2026. Here is what we learned, who we met, and why we left more excited than ever.

Small business owners are some of the hardest-working people in our communities. They are also some of the most overwhelmed.

They are building, selling, hiring, serving customers, managing cash flow, trying to market themselves, and making decisions every single day that can impact the future of their business. For many entrepreneurs, the challenge is not a lack of ideas. It is turning those ideas into clear priorities, focused action, and consistent execution.

That is exactly why we built iTrepreneur.

This year, we had the opportunity to showcase iTrepreneur at the SBC Ontario Network Conference 2026, and it was a great experience for our team.

Ryan, Dan, and Kevin had the chance to connect with Small Business Centres from across Ontario, share what we are building, and have meaningful conversations about how iTrepreneur can support the work advisors are already doing in their local communities.

Built to Support Small Business Owners Between the Meetings

Small Business Centres play an important role in helping entrepreneurs start, grow, and strengthen their businesses. They provide guidance, programming, mentorship, funding support, and real human connection when business owners need it most.

But one thing we heard clearly is that entrepreneurs often need support between those touchpoints.

They may leave a workshop, meeting, or advisory session with great advice, but then they go back into the day-to-day reality of running the business. That is where things can get hard.

Priorities shift. Problems come up. Time disappears. Good intentions do not always turn into action.

The gap between great advice and consistent execution — where entrepreneurs need support most

iTrepreneur is designed to help fill that gap.

It gives small business owners a practical tool they can use to work through business clarity, goal setting, planning, accountability, and execution. It is not meant to replace advisors, coaches, or Small Business Centres. It is built to support and extend the value of that work.

Helping Entrepreneurs Move From Advice to Action

One of the biggest challenges for small business owners is execution.

They may know they need to improve their marketing, clean up their finances, build a better customer experience, or create a stronger plan — but knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

iTrepreneur helps business owners take the next step.

It is built to help entrepreneurs break down ideas into manageable actions, think through decisions, stay focused on their goals, and build momentum in the business.

Finding direction through the noise — iTrepreneur helps entrepreneurs navigate the path forward

For Small Business Centres, this creates an opportunity to give entrepreneurs another layer of support. Instead of advice ending after a session or program, business owners can continue working through their priorities with a tool designed to keep them moving forward.

Conversations That Matter

The best part of the conference was not just showing the platform. It was the conversations.

We spoke with people from across the province who are deeply committed to helping small businesses succeed. Every conversation reinforced how important this work is and how much opportunity there is to support entrepreneurs in a more consistent, practical, and accessible way.

We also had the chance to talk about the partnerships we are already building with organizations that support entrepreneurs through programs like Starter Company Plus. iTrepreneur is currently being included by partners such as Lanark County, Leeds Grenville, and Invest Ottawa as part of the support they provide to small business owners.

That momentum is exciting for us because it shows that there is a real need for tools that help entrepreneurs take what they learn and put it into action.

A Tool That Adds Value to Existing Programs

Our goal with iTrepreneur is not to create another complicated platform for business owners to figure out.

The goal is to make business support more usable.

For Small Business Centres, iTrepreneur can help add value to existing programs by giving participants a practical resource they can use during and after the program experience. It can help entrepreneurs stay engaged, work through their business priorities, and build stronger habits around planning and execution.

For business owners, it provides a place to think, plan, organize, and act.

And for advisors, it creates a way to extend support without adding more pressure to already busy teams.

Thank You to the SBC Ontario Network

We want to thank everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared feedback, and took the time to learn more about iTrepreneur.

We left the conference even more confident that this kind of support is needed.

Small businesses do not just need more information. They need help applying it. They need tools that meet them where they are. They need practical support that helps them keep moving, even when running the business gets busy, messy, or overwhelming.

The vision behind iTrepreneur — supporting small business owners every step of the way

That is what we are building with iTrepreneur.

And after connecting with so many Small Business Centres from across Ontario, we are more excited than ever about the opportunity to support the people who are supporting small business every day.
